IN COLLABORATION WITH THE FRENCH EMBASSY IN LEBANON
During the 2010-2011 year, SESOBEL’s training center, in collaboration with the French Embassy in Lebanon, organized ten training modules that dealt with different disability themes.
Four of the modules were given by SESOBEL professionals and six by foreign experts from France, Belgium, Ireland, England and the USA.
The bulk of the training targeted professionals who were concerned with disabilities: speech therapists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, psychologists, social workers and special education teachers.
Onsite teaching: Participants: 245 people from 33 establishments.
Offsite teaching in Syria: 10 training sessions on mental disabilities in “Al Ard” Centre in Homs and Aleppo – 209 people from 35 NGOs participated in the training sessions.
